Gunboat 60 ALAIA

The world-class luxury, performance Gunboat catamaran ALAIA represents generations of build experience and meticulous upkeep in a platform optimized for self-sufficient cruising and adventure.

Underneath the subtle curves and graceful sheer lines, the Gunboat 60 is a true performance machine built with high-end race boat construction methods and top-of-the-line exotic materials. The all-carbon hulls are built in female molds set in epoxy and post cured over a Corecell foam core to achieve lightness with maximum strength and durability. Performance and safety go hand in hand with ocean-going structures designed to deliver the most pleasurable sailing motion in the widest range of conditions.

Well-appointed and designed to the detail, ALAIA features four staterooms plus a crew cabin, sleeping a total of ten – plenty of room for family, friends, and crew. She benefits from the owners’ sharp sense of style with a wide range of interior upgrades and high quality finishings.

The current owner completed a comprehensive refit before setting sail on long-range adventures in January of 2018. Managed by Gunboat at the Newport Shipyard, the refit included an entirely new sails package, a redesigned cockpit with new hardware and winches, upgraded rigging, new traveler system, hull modifications that maximize storage for surfboards and water toys, a gorgeous new paint job (hull, mast, boom, and longeron), full mast service including a 3rd reef attachment, custom seadeck, and upgraded soft goods. No detail was spared to make her exceptional in every aspect!

As the current owners wrap up their tour, ALAIA sits in perfect, turnkey condition ready to keep the momentum going.

Set sail on Gunboat 60 ALAIA! Optimized for self-reliant global adventure, ALAIA has been professionally maintained by highly experienced crew and presents in stunning condition for her next owners. High-tech structures and luxurious interiors make her exceptional in the widest range of conditions, with retractable boards & rudders granting access to skinny waters.
