Gunboat 6803 Paint Reveal

It was a huge day at the yard and the team had a lot to celebrate on this big moving day, as 6803 and 6804 switched places in the paint booth. On top of that, the clear sunny day lent to capturing some photos of the Gunboat factory within the setting of La Grande-Motte - our seaside boatbuilding mecca in the south of France!

First, Gunboat 6803 was rolled out of the paint shed and revealed for the first time in a metallic gray!  We've been admiring the lines of this stunning design (VPLP, Patrick le Quément, and Christophe Chedal Anglay) since she came out of the molds in full carbon, and now with a glimpse of her unique personality in owner-selected colors - the dark metallic gray and custom red accents.

Also moving right along in production, 6804 briefly joined 6803 for the photo op in front of the factory before they were both in final transit and tucked in to their respective stations.

6804 will now undergo post cure before starting the months-long painting process.

6803 is in final assembly in the lead up to her launch this July. Awaiting fitment to the boat are 6803's regatta daggerboards (Lorima), getting their bearings prefitted.
